[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This year of the pig is the last in the 12-year cycle in Chinese astrology. It’s the time to look honestly at everything you need to let go of, and release what you don’t want to bring into the new cycle in 2020.

I feel this year is about creating a foundation for the next stage of our lives and tidying up what doesn’t serve us both literally and emotionally. This is evident in the popularity of Marie Kondo’s Tidying Up Netflix series where  she helps people reclaim their lives by looking at their stuff and asking if it sparks joy.  So simple yet so needed, especially here in the US where consumerism reigns.  So I invite you to examine what you really want to create in your life on all levels of your being.

Intuitively, I sense there will be more earthquakes worldwide, but I  especially am concerned about California.  I see there will be problems with floods throughout the world, as this year is influenced by both the earth and water energies.[/vc_column_text][trx_title type=”2″ align=”center”]

The Earth Element

[/trx_title][vc_column_text]Because this year is primarily related to the Earth element, it’s important to pay attention to your digestion, decrease or eliminate sugar intake and strengthen your immune system. There are so many new super bugs, bacteria, viruses and toxins prevalent in our environment affecting all of us,  even if you have a good diet and healthy lifestyle. I will write a blog on my favorite herbs to build immunity soon and will post to Facebook and my site so check it out.[/vc_column_text][trx_title type=”2″ align=”center”]

Breitenbush Hot Springs

[/trx_title][vc_column_text]I’m really excited about coming out of my adobe cave and teaching at Breitenbush Hot Springs this April.

I am stepping into my next phase of creating workshops for women to reawaken their feminine sensual energies in middle age and beyond. I just did an internal pelvic floor workshop with local midwives and physical therapists which was fascinating and intimidating. I had no idea how the female pelvis is so complex and important to a woman’s entire health.

Many imbalances from headaches, backaches, hip pain and low libido can be treated by tending to our pelvic energy. One tip that surprised me is that breathing from the ribs releases pelvic tension more than dantien breathing! Try it by placing your hands along your ribs and breathe laterally out to the sides. I could feel the difference internally where my muscles let go into deep relaxation.

In my studies here in Santa Fe, I am learning the importance of sexual energy for slowing aging and maintaining overall vitality. As we age, it’s even more important to learn how to cultivate our primordial energy (the jing) through internal alchemy and qigong since it nourishes our deeper essence, sexual juiciness, and is the foundation for the quality and quantity of our overall energy and well being. Sexuality increases our vitality whether you have a partner or not. It’s the primal energy of life from which we all were conceived. I see so many middle aged women who have given up with their sensuality and libido either out of frustration of not having a partner who wants sex, or being solo or having too much pain in intercourse. Through these practices that I’ll be sharing, you will feel your juiciness return, your libido will blossom and you’ll leave with a new appreciation of your body, your feminine beauty and reawaken that deep inner nurturing that’s so important for women. It’s up to us to keep ourselves youthful, juicy and vital as we age and activating our jing and pelvic energies are the key.[/vc_column_text][trx_title type=”2″ align=”center”]

Awaken your Sexuality & Sensuality with Women’s Qigong
Breitenbush Hot Springs April 25-28th Detroit, Oregon

[/trx_title][vc_column_text]In April, I will teach the foundational work which is important for the workshop in fall (when I’ll teach the Daoist jade egg practice). We will focus on connecting with our pelvis both emotionally and physically through women’s qigong, guided Daoist meditation, dance and more.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]I’ll share a qigong form designed to awaken your sensuality and nurture the breasts and uterus along with promoting juiciness on many levels. (Note: it doesn’t matter if you’ve had a hysterectomy- the energetic blueprint is still there).

I’m so excited to announce that my friend Judy Little, who assisted me in my Mexican retreat last year, will be joining me to lead us in exercises to revitalize our sensuality.

Discover your inner feminine power through authentic dance, along with other explorations she gleaned from many years studying sexual energy and feminine power. We’ll also be blessed with a healing sound bath with sacred bowls. This is not my usual qigong workshop but a deep dive into your feminine essence so sign up soon.

This weekend is an all women’s weekend at the hot springs so cabins fill up fast. Register now—it’s going to be an amazing retreat.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][trx_image url=”3126″][vc_column_text]
